This webinar holds particular significance as it falls within the US CDC Fungal Disease Awareness Week (FDAW), scheduled from September 18th to 22nd, 2023. This week marks a special occasion for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and its partners to raise awareness about fungal diseases and antifungal resistance, and foster a collective effort to 'Think Fungus'.
To commence this awareness week on a global scale, a joint CDC-WHO webinar has been organized to offer an in-depth perspective on fungal diseases, and challenges related to antifungal resistance, and the ongoing initiatives to combat them. Your presence and participation in this webinar would greatly contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and collaborative efforts in this critical domain.
